LightBookShow is an offline tool. Your productions, your photographs and your files stay on your device. There is no account to create, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking of any kind.
One thing leaves the app, and only when you press the button for it: the message you write in the FEEDBACK screen. It is shown to you in full beforehand, and the part that identifies you can be switched off.
This policy also covers the website you are reading it on, where there is one form — the field for leaving an email address.
LightBookShow is developed and published by LIGHTBOOKSHOW, IE, a company registered in Georgia, at N 4e, floor N 6, apartment N 75, building N 2, Giorgi Leonidze str., Batumi, 6000, Georgia. That company is the data controller for everything described below.

All of the following is stored locally, in the app's own folder, and is never uploaded anywhere by the app:
.lightbook files.When you use EXPORT or share a file, iOS hands it to whichever app you choose — Mail, Files, a messenger. What happens after that is governed by that app's own privacy policy, not by ours.
The only outbound connection the app makes is when you fill in the FEEDBACK screen and
press SEND. Your message is sent to a server on the lightbookshow.com domain,
which forwards it to the developer's mailbox as an email.

The diagnostics block contains, and contains nothing else:
iOS 26.6;Hermione's iPhone;You see this block in full, on screen, before you send anything. The switch above it turns it off. Nothing is collected in the background, and nothing is sent at any other moment.
If the network is unavailable, the app falls back to your device's own mail app. In that case the message is composed for you and you send it yourself; the app has no part in it.
Settings contains a switch labelled RECORD NAME. When it is off, your name is not written into your show files and is not included in feedback diagnostics. It exists because a lighting passport is passed between people, and not everyone wants to sign their work.
The site sets no cookies and carries no analytics, no advertising and no tracking script of any kind. The one thing it loads from elsewhere is its typefaces, which come from Google Fonts: your browser fetches them directly, so Google sees the address the request comes from. The policy pages you are reading now load nothing at all from outside this domain.
The site has a single form: the field where you can leave an email address to be told, once, when the app can be installed. If you fill it in and press the button, that address is posted to an endpoint on the lightbookshow.com domain and arrives in the developer's mailbox as an email. Nothing is sent with it beyond the address itself, and it is used for that one notice and for nothing else — there is no newsletter, no mailing list, and nothing is passed to anyone.
The legal basis is your consent, given by pressing the button. You may withdraw it at any moment: one line to info@lightbookshow.com and the address is deleted.
The feedback endpoint and the form on this site both run on Cloudflare (Cloudflare Workers and Cloudflare Email Routing), which forwards the message to the developer's mailbox. As with any request over the internet, Cloudflare processes your device's IP address in order to route and deliver the request and to protect the service from abuse. The app itself neither reads nor stores your IP address.
The mailbox those messages arrive in is hosted by Google. Google therefore processes them as our mail provider — the same as for anyone who writes to us by email.
Google Fonts serves the typefaces on the pages of this site other than this one, as described above.
No other third party receives your data. It is not sold, not shared, not used for advertising, and not used to build a profile of you.
Feedback messages are kept in the developer's mailbox for as long as they are useful for fixing what you reported. An email address left on this site is kept until the release notice has been sent, and then deleted. You can ask for either to be deleted sooner, at any time, by writing to info@lightbookshow.com.
This policy is governed by the law of Georgia, in particular the Law of Georgia on Personal Data Protection. You may ask what data about you is held, ask for it to be corrected, and ask for it to be deleted or destroyed. The supervisory authority is the Personal Data Protection Service of Georgia, and you have the right to complain to it.
If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, the GDPR gives you the same rights and a few more — access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection — and you may complain to your national data protection authority. Our legal basis for handling a feedback message, or an address left on this site, is your consent, given by pressing the button, and our legitimate interest in fixing what you reported.
There is no account to delete. The app does not register you, never asks you to sign in and keeps nothing about you on any server of ours. The only data we hold is what you chose to send us by writing — a feedback message, or an email address left on this site — and one email to info@lightbookshow.com is enough to see it or have it deleted.
Both are requested only at the moment you tap a photo slot. If you decline them, everything else in the app continues to work. Photographs never leave your device except in a file you export yourself.
LightBookShow is a professional tool for theatre technicians. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from them.
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes — anything that alters what is sent or to whom — will also be noted in the app's release notes.
